Jacksonville was once known as the Winter Film Capital of the World, home to over 30 movie companies in the early 20th century. Among them was Norman Studios, a pioneering force in the production of 'race films' that featured positive portrayals of Black actors and stories. This rich heritage is the foundation upon which we stand.
We’re building a full-scale independent production company and studio infrastructure in Jacksonville. Our mission is to create original stories, develop talent, create jobs, and position Jacksonville as a major hub for film and television production.
